Alison Grimes, Au.D.
Alison Grimes, AuD, is the head of the Audiology Clinic at UCLA Medical Center, and an Assistant Clinical Professor in Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to administrative duties, Dr. Grimes provides audiology services to patients of all ages, including newborns.
Dr. Grimes' background spans 30 years in audiology, and includes periods of research (primarily in hearing aids, pediatrics, and also in hearing function in aging/demented individuals). She has been a clinician for 30 years, and still enjoys seeing patients on a daily basis. She has spent most of her career in the non-profit world, most recently as Director of Audiology at Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange, California.
In addition to serving on the ABA Board of Governors, Dr. Grimes is the Past President of the American Academy of Audiology.
