The purpose of certification is to identify and formally recognize those audiologists whose knowledge base and clinical skills are consistent with professionally established standards and who continue to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities through advanced training and other educational activities. By entering into this voluntary certification program, audiologists demonstrate their commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest professional standards. Board Certification in Audiology will assist consumers in recognizing those individuals who have completed standardized education and training, and who continue their personal and professional development.
