John A. Coverstone, Au.D. received B.S. degrees in Speech Communication and in Speech & Hearing Science from Portland State University, an M.S. degree from Portland State University, and an AuD degree from PCO School of Audiology. Dr. Coverstone has previously worked in hearing instrument and medical equipment manufacturing and is currently the President and CEO of Sentient Healthcare, an audiology consulting company. He is the clinical audiologist at Innsbruck Hearing & Balance Center in New Brighton, MN and the educational audiology at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf in Faribault, MN. Dr. Coverstone has served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology and the Sight & Hearing Association, St. Paul, MN. He has additionally served as Chair of the American Academy of Audiology State Network Committee, 2007 - 2010 and the Minnesota Academy of Audiology Continuing Education Committee, 2005-2006. Dr. Coverstone is also active in state legislative affairs in Minnesotaand serves on the Governmental Relations Committee of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology
