The ABA at AudiologyNOW!®
This year, the ABA welcomed over 200 participants to the Meet & Greet at AudiologyNOW! in Dallas. Thanks to all who participated! Mentors included numerous luminaries in the profession including current and former ABA and Academy Board members.
Particular thanks are due to Angela Morris (pictured right, third photo) along with volunteers, Amanda Blaszczynski and Heather Hook, who organized this wonderful event sponsored by Thieme Publishers. Thanks are also due to ABA Board member Jill Meltzer (pictured right, last photo) and the 10th Anniversary Task Force including Bettie Borton, Melanie Herzfeld, and Angela Morris.
Participants, comprised of ABA certificants and students, enjoyed lunch, dessert, and good conversation. Beth Campbell (pictured right, fourth photo), acquisitions editor with Thieme, presented a brief history of Thieme Publishers before presenting several Thieme gift certificates to the delight of several lucky students!
In recognition of the 10th anniversary, the event featured ABA lapel pins for five- and ten-year certificants, as well as ABA birthday cake!
